AT&T Presents Samsung Captivate
Samsung has announced the Samsung Captivate – an Android OS based smartphone that looks really stylish.
The phone belongs to the Samsung Galaxy S class of smartphones. It features a Super AMOLED touchscreen that measures 4 inches. The phone is powered by a hummingbird chip that is able to shift three times the amount of triangles in comparison with a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU seen in other devices.
The Samsung Captivate has a 5 megapixel camera that can capture video at a resolution of 720p. There are 32GB for storage. The phone will run on Android 2.. The device accesses the HSPA network and transfers data at very high speeds.
The Captive smarpthone supports all Google Mobile Services, such as Google Maps, Google Search, Google Talk and many others. The phone also allows the user to access the Android Market and to make use of 60,000 applications.
Pricing details are not known yet. Expected to be available in a few months.
